B. Lowfat milk? Evaporated skim milk? As it reduces, you're left with milk fat, so what's the point? Just more work?
C. You just added flour with no butter, into mostly water, and some powdered milk.
No wonder it looks gluey and watery.
Alfredo is cream, butter, cheese, and garlic, with spices. If you're going to make such a thin glue like flour soup, you could at least throw some white wine or a pinch of nutmeg...anything!
Whatever this is, it isn't alfredo, and it isn't good cooking. Just eat something else if your that concerned.
robin deatherage: Wolfgang Puck probably laughs at many videos making Alfredo. Ok here is the secret. Oil, garlic, onion saute then, white wine or any vinegar. Next only add powdered milk. Nestleys or Nidos is perfect. Only add just enough water to get the desired thickness. Keep it simple. Also only add parmesan cheese after as a light garnish so not over killing the taste.

seygra20: An easier recipe is (if you aren't afraid of fat):add heavy cream & butter to a pan, stir until or 1-2 min add some parmesan cheese and stir until creamy, add in pasta stir and then top with chopped parsley
