Richard Prescott: When I was training for the London marathon,I would have my friend drive in his car with a map of our route.You do 3 X 10 mile runs ,the next week you do 3x 15 mile runs,then I would gradually increase the intensity of the gradient .That takes up three months of training.In between the runs,I would do short sprint runs ,to increase and maintain stamina.I would also learn how to drink and run ,which was difficult .The final run during training,was 21.5 miles,on undulating ground.The last hill I ran up was in Wales ,in the Brecon Beacons .The incline was 1 in 4....very tough after 21.5 miles.You run that specific distance because at the start of the London marathon there are so many people ,you don't start running properly until you get passed the Royal artillery barracks near shooters hill (Woolwich Arsenal ),which is 3 miles,give or take.My goal was to break 3 hours.Anything under 3 and you are very good.I finished in 2hours,48 minutes,and 27 seconds.My motivation was the film pumping iron.Not the bodybuilding,but the training,and sacrifice involved.Arnold will always be a legend,and a great motivator .Thank you sir.

Slappin Liberals: the fuckin gym where i live is full of asians during the day they go in groups one will literally sit on a machine he'll do som reps then just sit there a talk with his other 4 friends that are just standing around him laughing and joking around like a bunch of girls. what really pisses me off is when i need a bench and some fuckin asian kid is using it just to sit and scroll through his fuckin facebool every 5 minutes. its nothing against asians the problem is i live in garden grove California its full of oriental people they flood the gyms and use them as social get togethers taking away the space, free weights and machines just to fuckin sit and talk most of the time.
