Nefelibata: "positives" kinda contradictory, but such is life innit
tranquility: Everyone I personally know who has this condition, behaves severely unpredictably. Their condition also coincides with narcissism. There is nothing positive about dealing with someone who has severe mood swings, who thinks you're cool for now, but the clock is always ticking until you're not. Then when you add in the narcissism on top of that, God help you. Mental illness is running rampant in our society much like an epidemic. Then to add to all of this, ppl who are mentally ill are notorious for quitting their meds as they see fit. Thank God I am a loner, that's a guaranteed quiet, and enjoyable time. Positives my ass. Ask ppl on the recieving end of this madness how "positive" it was for them to deal with.
Edd Gsmith: hi everyone I been searching and searching for an answer of why im how im and this last few days came to find out im BPD that's awesome to have people like this person that made this video, thank u
yougram: im spider im in love with Mary Jane
AMA PENN.: I had to thumb down for the firsr time cause it was so hard to try and read the text :(
Ms Tango: High sensation seekers what is that?
Cheekysheiky: When you have BPD everything is black and white....
fattymoko: I'm a tad weary of people blaming their childhood trauma on their BPD. My childhood was a terroristic nightmare. I grew up, dealt with my issues without psychotherapy, know there are horrible people in the world that are really to be pitied, overcame, find solace in things that don't hurt people, own the sweetest pet one could ever have the pleasure of knowing, worked hard for 40 years at a job I was good at. Don't blame people for my problems and I own whatever failures I've had in life. I am kind, generous to a fault with money and my time and will give you hours and hours of whatever kind of service you might need. I'm a great cook, have many hobbies, decidedly not married and glad I have no children to be responsible for. I have had it with people who totally blame a disorder and rely on it to tantrum, blame, nag, beg, cry, scream etc. over nothing.
Denis Parent: I call this video Bullshit, stay away from those people they will ruin your life up.
ShitOnMyDick967: The stereotypes in the comments. Bleh.
Scapegoats Unite: I noticed in comments some people saying that people with BPD aren't sensitive. I still argue we are. I believe BPD comes from a sensitive temperament and being invalidated at a young age for having feelings like this. With all my trauma I was told I was overreacting and I'm a baby, too sensitive etc. I tried to be a tough girl and blocked off my feelings for years being self destructive and mean. If you look deeper inside me, there is a small sensitive lost child.
Susan Zhu: Why the different fonts and diagonal sentences?!
Vignesh Naidu: Half the things mentioned in this video are not true and just made for the purpose for making yourself and some people happy! This is far from reality!
Bex Adams: Thanks! I needed this video to remind me of all the good things! ;-) I was diagnosed with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder only last year! I'm the way I mean because I lived my whole childhood in fear on my violent and controlling father!
I have lots of help from my Mental Health team.
Chris Van der Veen: i have BPD but i am not sensitve never been, at least i dont feel sensitive, i have always been very rational, but the last years i have been so unhappy, especially with my home situation, that it no longer serves a purpouse to be rational...
Shay ily: i think i have bpd im 14 VERY sensitive and I have all signs took a test and have it but in this video i feel like this person knows how bpd works and said these stuff knowing that ppl who hve bpd are sensitive he said this so we can feel more self confident since ppl with bpd usually dont like themselves that much like me
Marmaidena: I needed this tonight. Thank you
Gianni Marino: NO way, no positive sides
Just hell for you, the same hell ( even worst) than you cause to those who loves you
you don't deserve anything but tonns of hate
Object: What a crock
Lofilowlife: So, I was diagnosed with BPD 4 years ago. I've done DBT therapy and meditation on my own and read books by the Dalai Lama, Thicht Nhat Hahn, Brene Brown. These all helped tremendously and once I finally stopped self medicating with weed (I was a daily hardcore smoker) well, my rage went way down and my mood swings decreased dramatically << before anyone gets their panties in a bunch re. weed smoking, I will say that quitting helped me and everyone is different. I'm not trying to preach and tell anyone what to do; I'm only saying this is what helped me.
Basically just want to let those suffering know that it can get better. There's work involved but it's worth it, and don't let negative "normal" people tell you how awful you are just cause you have BPD. When I first looked up BPD the only thing I found were nasty commentary/sites on how manipulative, selfish and awful we are (as if "normal" people aren't ever manipulative, selfish or awful- HA!). But that in itself is black and white thinking because people with BPD also have other attributes too which is, ya know, the point of this video. So don't give up people!
