INSTAGRAM FLYWITHCAPTAINJOE: https://goo.gl/TToDlg MY WEBSITE: https://goo.gl/KGTSWK Dear friends and followers! Today I´ll be answering a question on "How much fuel does a jet airplane need?". But more regarding trip fuel, contingency fuel, alternate fuel, extra fuel, final reserve and taxi fuel. This is a basic guideline on fuel figures and fuel planning of any commercial jet airplane. How much fuel jet airplanes eventually use, will be discussed in a upcoming video. Thank you very much for watching. The next video will be online next saturday! Ibrahim Mohammed: please answer my comment

Ibrahim Mohammed: You are Amazing I am your 10 years old subscriber my name is Mohammed I want to become a pilot like you ✈✈✈🛂🛃✈✈

Johnny Draco: Hey "Capt. Joe" explain this for all of us. And please don't be shy.

Baco Miric: There is no room in the wings for fuel.

I Alítheia: Absolute BS

The Beoing 747 SP has 50, 359 gal fuel capacity which equates to 337,405 lbs in weight (153,044kg), So that's 153 metric tons in the wings! Each wing carries 76.5 metric tons? Seriously?
A 2018 Camero weighs 1.5 metric tons. So each plane, has in each of its wings, the equivalent weight (never mind the space required) of 76 Cameros?
Stack 76 Cameros on each wing and it will still take off? Who buys this?

I've sat many, many times adjacent to the wing when flying and there is not space for 76 Cameros in that wing. There are pulleys, hydraulics and wings that contract into the wing so BS!

See for yourself. Research Jet Fuel Hoax and you make a decision. The truth is what it is...

Roy C Horton: Captain Joe .....why are you wearing First Officers' 3 gold bars ?

cosmodave69: Safe to say jets turbine engines run on much less fuel than were told.Does it really make sense to store fuel in the only part of the plane that must flex for turbulence?
Really???

sphere skeptic: I remain sceptical

KerrySquidLOL747: AirJoe is my favorite hehe

Batman: Ryanair always speculate on fuel they had two emergency landing in one day because pilot is not allowed to tank extra fuel

Paula Jewitt: NONE.

Ric Vargas: How im pilot how to crash your engine

Milad Juckel: what happens if no problems arise and we're left with a lot of extra fuel upon arrival? How does the existing fuel play a role for the next departure ?

cgreat9: not that clear, how many liters of fuel?

MA Zijemlje: How much fuel in litres or metric tonnes, please...? What you said is meaningless.

Juha Mikkonen: Would be nice to hear about the quantity of fuel in liters in tanks. Like A350 tanks are 138000 liters! That sounds ridiculous as there doesnt seem to be much space inside the wing. Plus the engine is about 7,5tons. That's 60+tons weight per wing? To me it does not match up.

tejas nalawade: Joee but i have heard that fuel tank are generally full to avoid fuel tank contamination

Reinaldo Perez: Where is the density video u speak of at the end of this one..?? And can u explain the size and how much space that the tank actually takes up? Please

Daniella Thoelen: LIAR!

Mike Parker: I thought it was 45 Minutes of Cruise flight after you fly to your first alternate?
