Kathryn Ellison: I so believe the genetic part. didn't grow up with my father saw him once in awhile in my 30s I moved to his town to get to know him and it was so funny some of the things that he did I did and there's no way I would have learn them by environment because he was never around.
abida islam: Damn you, genetics!!!
Elf Monster: I'm related to h h Holmes does that mean I hope I don't kill someone.
Alexander DuChaine: I fully understand using an addict preparing dope to emphasize addiction. It is, however, still a blow to the self worth remembering personal experiences that mirror such actions. I, wholeheartedly, believe that, although addiction is genetic, each individual is responsible for his/her own spiral into such a state. I do commend your compilation and editing style for causing self reflection within your viewers. I also subscribe to your "Today I Found Out" channel because of your relatability and ability to elicit similar thought provoking moments. As a humble fan, I beg of you to keep up the amazing work. Thank you, Simon (and Team)
CraftQueenJr: Will apparently genes do not matter to me I love country and folk!
E. Lewis Basher: Yes on anxiety disorders. I never learned to drive. My Mom did not learn till she was in her 50`s I still have zero interest at. 56.
Rev GC: Inherited the violent gene from my mother. Had to get a handle on that early or I would look like I'm far left.
Cam Good: my grandmother and aunts are terrified of snakes. and my grandmother is terrified of storms, but I have no phobias, although spiders will freak me out if they get on me because they bite.. I don't think it's a phobia though since.. they bite.
ismail Cem Eroglu: traviling gene not suprised since my ancestors were nomads and musical taste plus left handed smart and handsome strong immune system
İT SEEMS THAT I WON GENETİC LOTTERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dan Cristian Gumalo: No. 8 makes sense for the Vikings now
Jennifer ofHolliston: My father quit smoking when cigarettes were rationed in WW II Australia. I picked up in college and stopped when my mother smelled it and yelled at me one time. Neither of us ever picked up smoking again. Are we rational, or just lacking in the gene that makes nicotine addictive?
Codr Persona: I read an article that stated that the DNA of Holocaust survivors were influenced by their experience, to the point that the genetic traits were passed on to the next generation
JD M: which rats lived longest? had the most sex?
LexiDizzle: I have at least half of these traits, but they probably come from my ADHD. Which tbf is also genetic.
Jo HexxKitten: I'm not afraid of Lions, Tigers or Bears! There aren't actually any animals that I am afraid of tbh (insects & arachnids on the other hand... argghhh!) whilst I do not fear these animals I do have a massive respect for them. I know enough about them to be aware that walking up to a lion and saying "what's for lunch?" Won't be likely to end with you both sharing cheese sandwiches... however I HAVE actually shared cheese sandwiches with a fully grown lioness and four of her cubs (my grandfathers best friend ran a big cats breeding programme for several zoos and I met all of the traditional big cats: lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, pumas and panthers). I was only about 4years old and somewhere in the family photo albums there is a pic of me sitting sharing a sandwich (I was actually holding out the sandwich for her) with a gorgeous lioness... I'm still alive, so they can't be that scary ;) whilst I met some of the male big cats, I never got quite as close to them, as the males are known to attack their own young, so they show now respect for interspecies young. Whereas the females are more relaxed around other young, so long as they perceive no threat to their own. Which is why a lioness will step between a male and her young and isnot afraid to kick his arse if needed!
Jon Haugland: Advice for ANYONE going through issues with depression/anxiety, suffering a loss of family/loved-one:
Anti-Depressants only help 50% of the Time. The other half is on YOU and your WILLINGNESS to build a support structure that DOESN'T use Alcohol and Drugs/Narcotics as a crutch.
Jennifer W: My birth mother LOVES to travel; in fact, my birth father was in the military and enjoyed quite a few locations. However, I cannot stand to travel! So this is not always the case.
Kati OBrien: Simon, you always make me smile. Love your narratives. Keep up the good work.
Jutta Maier: Half of this is rubbish
Maggi's Clips Of The Month: Simon Whistler you are a very productive man, good job taking over youtube !
