babak bayatani: dude cant even spell driving rofl
Kendra Nobiz: LOL -- laziness is genetic! I have rarely laughed so, so, so hard! Some of my friends' parents are going to get a crazy side-eye from me from on! As for the music info, show me the receipts -- this sounds like when you're young, you listen to what your parents did and when you get older you're more open to listening to whatever you please.
Scare Crow: my moms addicted to coca cola. im addicted to coke
Himeko Yozora: Ummmm I can see the music one but I think it's cuz of what I listened to as a kid and my friends liked the similar music too and 2 normally you go for your father my man is almost like my dad and 1 I can see too
gamerED: I hate traveling
Riya Singh: I do not have any phobia it's very strange I don't even know why I don't get freaked out when I see a spider
SuperGiggityMaster: About the diet segment. I think that the difference between the groups of people given generic explanations and and those given genetic explanations comes from a person's desire to choose. With the standard explanation it sounds like there is a choice in whether you follow the diet or not. With the genetic explanation it makes the diet seem more important and like less of a choice. I believe this is because people know that their genes are pretty concrete and you can't change them. When someone is told that their health issue is because gene A reacts badly with high sodium intake, that person is more like to lessen the amount of salt in their food because they can't change their genes. If a person is told that is might be a more wise idea to lessen salt because they might begin to feel better, that person may feel like there is another option and seek it out instead.
JotaDeeMeO: I knew it!..
Kathryn Ellison: I so believe the genetic part. didn't grow up with my father saw him once in awhile in my 30s I moved to his town to get to know him and it was so funny some of the things that he did I did and there's no way I would have learn them by environment because he was never around.
abida islam: Damn you, genetics!!!
Siraceman 13420/9: I'm related to h h Holmes does that mean I hope I don't kill someone.
Alexander DuChaine: I fully understand using an addict preparing dope to emphasize addiction. It is, however, still a blow to the self worth remembering personal experiences that mirror such actions. I, wholeheartedly, believe that, although addiction is genetic, each individual is responsible for his/her own spiral into such a state. I do commend your compilation and editing style for causing self reflection within your viewers. I also subscribe to your "Today I Found Out" channel because of your relatability and ability to elicit similar thought provoking moments. As a humble fan, I beg of you to keep up the amazing work. Thank you, Simon (and Team)
CraftQueenJr: Will apparently genes do not matter to me I love country and folk!
E. Lewis Basher: Yes on anxiety disorders. I never learned to drive. My Mom did not learn till she was in her 50`s I still have zero interest at. 56.
Rev GC: Inherited the violent gene from my mother. Had to get a handle on that early or I would look like I'm far left.
Cam Good: my grandmother and aunts are terrified of snakes. and my grandmother is terrified of storms, but I have no phobias, although spiders will freak me out if they get on me because they bite.. I don't think it's a phobia though since.. they bite.
ismail Cem Eroglu: traviling gene not suprised since my ancestors were nomads and musical taste plus left handed smart and handsome strong immune system
İT SEEMS THAT I WON GENETİC LOTTERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dan Cristian Gumalo: No. 8 makes sense for the Vikings now
Jennifer ofHolliston: My father quit smoking when cigarettes were rationed in WW II Australia. I picked up in college and stopped when my mother smelled it and yelled at me one time. Neither of us ever picked up smoking again. Are we rational, or just lacking in the gene that makes nicotine addictive?
sage kath: I read an article that stated that the DNA of Holocaust survivors were influenced by their experience, to the point that the genetic traits were passed on to the next generation
