John Unnever: Is the effect in body the same when you consume too much protein and knock yourself out of ketosis as if you ate too many carbohydrates to knock yourself out of ketosis?

shibaak: I love that you actually make so much sense! Other channels make it so confusing and so difficult you want to shut them down! Don't bother to even try it. But you make it a enjoyable lifestyle, rather than a prison diet! Thank you very much.
I do 23/1 IF and keto at the same time. Before finding your channel, I had 75 to 80% fat and did lose weight, but suddenly stopped and I started even gaining weight! On a 1200 calorie meal for a 225 lb 5' 6" woman! It was so disappointing to see the stop and not be able to do anything. Until in my searches, I got to one of your videos that says why gaining weight and you mentioned to increase protein. I increased my protein intake to almost 80-90 g (0.8 per lb of target lean body mass) about 40% and fat to about 50% and boom. From the next morning, I again started loosing weight.Do I care if I am kicked out of ketosis for a couple of hours after meal? Not at all. It's what it is! It's life and I want to enjoy life rather than over complicating things and constantly measuring food and obsessong over ketone levels! I compensate for being kicked out of ketosis by my 23/1 IF!
Anyway, so many many thanks for your videos and sharing your knowledge. You make so much sense!

waybackboy 89: I was under the assumption that u could eat all you want on keto if you at extreme low carbs(0-20) I did the math and I have been eating 3500 cals a day 300 grams of protein and 5 carbs per day and I went from 191 to 185 in 4 days.. Should I cut back on my protein? Will this hurt me in the long run?

rocco goldenera: nothing to do meat is very high on protein one slice contain about 20 to 23 gram of protein one eggs have 6 or 7 gram of protein if you take one slice of meat and some few eggs in one meal you have taken more than 20 gram of protein what can you advise this keto is very
complicated some times i dont know what to do!

ERIC BERG claim that the only requirement to reach a ketogenic state is to maintain a low-carbohydrates intake, about less than 30 grams per day, even if one is eating a lot of protein. I don't understand how can many people claim that eating a lot of protein will kick people out of teh ketosis state

SEK4110 Susan: Everyone needs to know that the studies regarding high mercury content in fish are based on people eating pilot whales and other fish that do NOT have fins and scales. FIns and scales are the key to nutritional fish !! Pilot whales are not fish. All fish (and whales) that do not have fins and scales have high mercury content. The people in the US dropped their fish intake due to a study of people eating pilot whale. Anyone can google this and learn the truth about this matter. Fish YUM!!!! It's what should be for dinner! AND it's cheaper now cause these studies scared the crap out people.
