ilovetoile: You are such a wonderful homemaker and human being! This looks wonderful and I love your videos!

Kathy Felpel: Miss Phyllis I just made this for dinner this evening. It is delicious!! Thank you so much for sharing. We all loved it.

sunshinegirl1967: Well, it's done and it made a gorgeous pie! My tomatoes were a little too ripe as I had feared. Should have let them sweat longer or not let them get any riper. So it was a little runny but still very tasty! Now if I can just conquer homemade fudge. Thank you for this recipe!

sunshinegirl1967: Wish me luck, I'm making one of these today!

Rebekah Yoder: That looks delicious, so beautiful ! Thank you for showing us how.

Liz Childers: Looks great. Am wondering if some sautéed onions and a touch of black pepper might enhance this recipe?

chilloften: Sounds so good! That crust, I want.

Janie Long: My family loves this so much i always have to make two pies at a time!

Corrie S: Mr Bucky is so sweet, praising your cooking :)

Melissa Stockwell: I am going to make this tomato pie! I want it now!!!

Melissa Stockwell: Dear Phyllis, I want you to know something. This past week, my precious sister has been going through some very troubling things. She feels scared, frozen, and confused. We are praying for her. She told us that she is watching your beautiful videos and they are comforting her during this time. She is watching one after another, escaping into the warmth and soothing delight of them. She loves the way you talk and the things you do. We have been talking about you over the internet, for she and I are not together in person. I told her that I can imagine her sitting at your kitchen table while you cook--she could help you--and then you would sit together and just talk. You would love my sister. This is a comforting thought to us. This past week, I have met you and have been watching you, too! It is like in Titus 2. The older women teach the younger women. You are so beautiful inside and out. We love you. The Lord has used you and your lovely videos as a blessing to my sister.

spicey66: Looks Beautiful!

Justa Fan: If I sliced a tomato that way I'd be in the ER for sure.

Fran Pennell: Just found this video. It looks wonderful!! We love tomatoes. Can't wait to make it. Did I miss where the parmesan cheese went in? Do you sprinkle it on top or mix it with the other cheeses? I live in Maryland and our tomatoes will be in soon. TFS!!

Debbie altman: Hello dogs... Love ya. You dogs are so cute.

Debbie altman: I use lard for homade tortillas. I use all butter for my pie crusts. I know butter has to be cold and you need to chil dough. But like how it taste. Looks good. Thanks. The plastic wrap is a great idea never thought of it. Just learned something new to try for rolling out pie crusts.

Joanne Wood: I went back a couple times but never did c you add any parmesan cheese? When do I add that? Thnx Phyllis

Fuzzy Friends Rescue Volunteer: That is interesting about the yolk breaking. My friend, Dennis, owns many of the laying hens who produce for Eggland's Best. I agree, they have nice eggs. He takes very good care of "his girls" and he used to talk about how he made sure they built comfortable living quarters and included special perches for them to get away from any boss hens who might try to peck at them. Comfortable, happy, healthy hens results in excellent eggs. Unfortunately, with free range eggs they're not allowed to offer the girls perches and things because they have to make it exactly like the wild, and free range eggs of any brand will sometimes be less "happy" as a result.

Roxy77777777: Omg. I love tomato anything. So much my childhood nickname was Tomato

Kimberly Bush: Mrs. Stokes, Mr. Bucky should change his name to Mr. Lucky because he is married to one good cook! I can tell! This recipe looks delicious!!!
