SOOOOO GOOD. i tweaked it a little i used both fresh and dried basil with garlic salt and pepper, i also put in a jar of real Bacon Bits. i well definately make this again.

Susan Byerly: When I have left over pie crust remnants. I cut it into strips, brush lightly with melted butter, and then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Pop them into the oven and brown lightly. And sometimes I lightly sprinkle with just a touch of confectioner's sugar. These are delicious. I will have to make a tomato pie love to try new things.

Cheryl Straub: Ms Stokes, I have a good recipe for Cheeseburger Chowder that is really good. Would you like the recipe?

Cheryl Straub: I use pennies for my pie weights. I also use butter for my shortening. I use half of the butter at room temperature and the other half frozen. I mix the room temperature butter into the flour mix first and then grate the frozen butter in and toss it in. I have a buttery, tender, and flakey crust every time.
