Alias Pending: Hi there, I started keto a few days ago and I have noticed I don't feel the need to eat often or snack or even eat at "normal" meal times. I have watched a few of the intermittent fasting while keto videos but I am not intending to intermittently fast this early in my diet. My question is...do I listen to my body and only eat when I'm hungry (for example today I'm probably gonna eat just once), or is this potentially damaging to my weight loss? Do I force myself to eat at least twice a day?

Out of curiosity, do you know how quickly your body can resume ketone production on average? Like let's say you're relatively low carb adapted, and you eat a dessert of some sort, about how long after your body breaks down the sugars will it resume ketone production?
Evolving Erinb: It is so apparent when you get adapted, especially like myself with MS. It is like a veil has been lifted. Everything starts awakening. Things that were off, start getting back in line. Attitude changes as well. It to me has seen a life changer. Yes, symptoms are there, but not controlling my life. IF or fasting triggers it even faster. Or maybe I should say improves it a step further. It takes time to heal, first, then everything else falls into place. I would never screw with this, it makes me want to live better. Easier to walk away from a screen and move, breathe in fresh air and as well start living better in all areas of my life.Remember the older movie Cocoon? Look it up, I think I jumped into the pool. Eeowyn McLaren: Awesome! Its always nice to be reminded to not over think this way of life... I've obsessed for a couple weeks now about getting the right amount of fat, and not too much protein. The fact that my original desire to start this was fueled by weight loss alone, I've now realized how wonderful all the other benefits are! I was in the "keto flu" (terrible name) for only a few days, and it wasn't horrible, I would just do some plank variations for about ten minutes when I felt nauseous or a headache coming on and it would be gone at the end of that ten minutes!
I feel so good physically now, I'm taking salsa classes! Life's definitely about more than just food!
