Mountain Mama: Dr. Darren Schmidt has a channel on here talking about the science and history of a mimicking fast that is essentially a fat fast though not at high calorie as many fat fast protocols I've read about.

The scale is a liar a lot of the time. I just thought I hit a stall. Took a little walk and the next day my body fat % miraculously went down almost 3%!
I am hypothyroid with adrenal fatigue so exercise is light.
It's 12 weeks keto for me tomorrow and 17 lbs. Gone. Nothing I tried prior helped me lose an ounce and I kept putting the "crazy" keto diet on hold. Wish I started sooner.

Pietja D: Fat fast works... If you hit plateau on keto... That was my case. I'm 43, very active ( gym swimming treadmill) I was trying to shred myself to 5% body fat( from 11%). Nothing did work. Helped fat fast. Just eat pure fat ( olive oil avocado oil, mct oil) + multivitamins + exercises and you will see results. After 10 days fat fast I achieved level of ketosis, someone who starwed himself for week.. 😂 Of course you have be on low calorie ( 1200 cal from pure fat in my case)
